Deadline for Consultation on National Pay Claim

I hope your summer is going well.

This is a gentle reminder that we are being consulted on this year’s pay award (plus wider claim). This is a preliminary depending on results to an industrial ballot proper.

Your negotiators and the branch are recommending a rejection of the offer and saying yes to industrial action.

You should have received a link to vote in an email from UCU nationally.

The offer is rock bottom of even public sector awards and a real pay cut. (More details on national UCU website).

All unions are looking to reject the offer so all campus unions could be standing together.

Finally a campaign on pay and job security means branches facing job losses will not be fighting on their own.
